ABOUT ME
Understand people in context.
My name is Miha Drevenšek. I work as an international business analyst and in the field of systemic psychotherapy. I am interested in how people understand complex relationships and identify possibilities for growth and change.

MY PATH
Two fields of work that shape my view.
Business and processes
Today I work as an international business analyst and country coordinator for processes in eight countries. Collaboration with different teams and organizations, the analysis of processes and the development of solutions continue to be part of my professional everyday life.
Psychotherapy and systemic practice
My interest in understanding human experience, relationships and behavior led to an intensive study of psychotherapy science and systemic psychotherapy. Both fields of work are now part of my professional life and open up different perspectives on people and their contexts.
TWO PERSPECTIVES
Different perspectives. A common look at connections.
Business and psychotherapy are different professional fields. In both, I am interested in relationships, communication, roles and expectations – and the question of how people make decisions and shape change in complex contexts.
Figures, facts and observable relationships are just as interesting to me as subjective experiences, feelings and personal perspectives. Analytical thinking and psychotherapy offer complementary perspectives on a situation while remaining distinct fields of work.
Biofeedback makes this connection clear to me: Physical reactions can become measurable and visible. Together with the subjective experience, this information can be viewed in the respective personal context; a single measured value does not in itself explain any experience.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Perspectives change with context.
As country coordinator for processes in eight countries, I work with different teams and organizational frameworks. I experience how important it is to consider communication, expectations and decisions in the respective context.
International cooperation has sharpened my view for different perspectives and solutions. It reminds me to consider and inquire about assumptions before classifying a situation.
TODAY
For me, working systemically means thinking about connections.
In my psychotherapeutic work, I first want to understand how someone experiences their own situation and what connections are important. Based on this, we clarify what should develop, which strengths and possibilities are already available and which next steps fit the person and their context.
- UnderstandingConsider the situation and its context together.
- Clarifying the objectivePut a desired development into words.
- Recognizing resourcesInclude existing strengths and new opportunities.
- Developing stepsFinding suitable ways for everyday life.
What is important to me
Understanding before solutions arise.
LISTENING AND UNDERSTANDING
I take time to listen carefully and understand the situation from the other person’s perspective.
SEEING CONNECTIONS
I incorporate relationships, patterns, experiences and context in order to open up new perspectives on a situation.
DEVELOPING CHANGE TOGETHER
I do not develop solutions in advance. Together we explore existing resources and possibilities that fit the person, their goal and their situation.
If you would like to find out whether my method of working fits your request, we can clarify this in a short initial meeting.
