The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Slovenian data protection law, in particular the Act on the Protection of Personal Data (ZVOP-2).
Provision of the website
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data are processed, especially the IP address and information about the requested resource, insofar as required to deliver the website and operate it securely. The legal basis for this necessary processing is our legitimate interest in secure website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Alfahosting hosts this website. In this context, the hosting provider processes in particular the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of access, and information about the browser and operating system used. According to Alfahosting, visitors’ IP addresses are stored for 24 hours and then anonymised. The log data are automatically deleted no later than after seven days. This processing serves the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website; its legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Alfahosting creates automatic server-side backups.
Contact via the contact form
The form requires your email address, the type of inquiry and your message. Your name and phone number are optional. For appointment inquiries, you may also provide possible time slots. We use these details solely to handle your inquiry and related communication. Technical measures make automated form submissions more difficult.
The theme does not permanently store form entries as a separate form record in the WordPress database. The message is sent by email to info@networkofemotions.com. The technical sender address is website@networkofemotions.com; the email address you provide is used as the reply-to address.
Legal bases
If your contact concerns the initiation or performance of a contractual or treatment relationship, processing for pre-contractual measures or contract performance is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other general or organizational inquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may apply. The legitimate interest is the proper handling and response to the inquiry.
No detailed health data on the form
The general contact form is intended for practical contact and arranging appointments. Please do not use it to send detailed health information, diagnoses, medical findings or other particularly sensitive information.
E-mail communication
Messages are sent and received through the configured email infrastructure. The messages may be processed in the email mailbox, together with technical delivery data.
Cookies and local storage
Your choice about optional statistics is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key noe_statistics_consent as “granted” or “denied”. It remains there until you change your choice using “Privacy settings” or clear your browser storage. For language selection, Polylang sets the pll_language cookie to the current language; it expires after one year. Matomo web analytics does not use tracking cookies. Administrative WordPress logins are not part of ordinary public use of this website.
Matomo web analytics
After your active consent, Matomo web analytics at analytics.networkofemotions.com is loaded to analyse use of this website statistically. Information about page views and technical usage data is processed. Matomo is not loaded without consent. The browser code disables Matomo tracking cookies.
You can change or withdraw your consent for the future at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer. If you choose “Necessary only”, no further Matomo tracking takes place.
Recipients and technical service providers
For hosting and e-mail infrastructure, Alfahosting is used. Data may be processed insofar as this is necessary for the provision of the website and e-mail communication.
The practice address links only to the external Google Maps service; no map is embedded on this website. Google Maps or another Google service is accessed only when you click the link. Google’s privacy policy applies to the processing of data there.
Storage period
Personal data is kept only for as long as needed for its purpose or required by legal retention obligations. For contact emails, the period depends on handling the inquiry, any subsequent contractual or treatment relationship, and legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Where applicable, you also have rights to data portability and to object. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Processing before withdrawal remains lawful.
You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Slovenia, this is the Informacijski pooblaščenec Republike Slovenije.
Automated decisions
The current website does not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
