B2B · STRESS & HEALTH
Understand work-related strain in context.
High or sustained demands, time pressure, workload and responsibility can shape everyday working life. How stress is experienced is also related to expectations, cooperation and the conditions of work.
In consulting, we consider personal resources and reactions as well as roles, available scope for action and organizational framework conditions. This can clarify what you can influence yourself and what needs to be addressed in the workplace.
Professional consulting for leaders and employees, not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
WORK RELATED PRESSURES
When demands continue over time.
Work-related strain can arise in different situations. Often several requirements and framework conditions work simultaneously.
Workload & Demands
When the volume, overlap, or complexity of tasks places sustained demands on you.
Time Pressure & Priorities
When time constraints, expectations, and competing tasks are hard to balance.
Responsibility
When responsibility for decisions, outcomes, or other people places ongoing demands on you.
Roles & Expectations
When different or contradictory expectations of one’s own role create burden.
Cooperation & Interfaces
When coordination, information flows, or unclear responsibilities create additional strain.
Boundaries & Recovery
When it is hard to set boundaries around work or get enough rest in daily life.
STRESS & STRAIN
Stress arises in interaction.
Work-related strain can arise from workload, time pressure, responsibility, roles, expectations and relationships. Cooperation, scope for action, available resources and organizational framework conditions also play a role.
How a person perceives and responds to these conditions is also relevant. That does not mean the cause lies with the individual alone.
Individual behavior cannot resolve every source of strain. If working conditions, roles or organizational structures contribute significantly to the situation, these conditions also need to be recognized and considered.
RESOURCES & ROOM FOR ACTION
Consider existing resources and possibilities, too.
In addition to stresses, we look at what already works despite the requirements, which experiences and relationships support and when the situation is less stressful.
Together, we clarify which scope for action actually exists, where limits of one’s own influence lie and which questions should possibly be discussed with a manager, team or organization.
It is not about having to cope with every work situation through personal self-management.
APPROACH
Understand strain and possibilities together.
Understanding Strain
Which situations or requirements are experienced as stressful? How does the burden appear in everyday work?
Exploring Connections
Which roles, expectations, relationships, working conditions or organizational factors play a role?
Recognizing Resources & Limits
What already helps? Where are the possibilities for action and where are the limits of personal influence?
Developing Possibilities
What could change in your own approach, communication or collaboration, or in the organizational conditions?
These perspectives do not form a fixed sequence. Depending on the situation, different aspects can come to the fore and be considered again later.
PERSON AND ORGANIZATION
Not every source of strain is an individual responsibility.
Work-related strain can be related to both personal reaction and action patterns and working conditions. Workload, roles, and responsibilities, information flows, leadership, collaboration, decision-making, change and available resources can shape the situation.
In counseling, we therefore distinguish: What can the individual influence? What might need to be clarified with a leader, team or organization? What are the limits of individual influence?
FORMAT
The focus is on the longer-lasting burden.
PRIMARY
Leaders
Consider prolonged stress related to responsibility, decisions, leadership, expectations or change.
Employees
reflect on work-related strain, requirements, limits, cooperation and existing scope for action.
ADDITIONAL
TEAM AND ORGANIZATION CONTEXT
If roles, interfaces, collaboration or organizational conditions contribute substantially to the strain, we can consider whether systemic consulting or another B2B format is more suitable.
The format, objectives and organizational framework are clarified together before the start.
CONTRACT & CONFIDENTIALITY
Clarity about goal and framework.
An individual session may be commissioned by the participant or an organization. The brief can also be clarified jointly with a manager, the organization and the participant.
Before the start, it is clarified which professional question is the focus, which goals are agreed, who is involved in clarifying the brief and which organizational framework applies.
If an organization commissions an individual session, we agree in advance what remains confidential and whether any information will be shared back.
BACKGROUND
Workplace realities and an understanding of people.
More than 20 years of work in international business and organizational contexts shape my view of professional situations. As an international business analyst and country coordinator for processes in eight countries, I know different roles, interfaces and forms of cooperation from organizational practice.
My knowledge of psychotherapy science and systemic psychotherapy complements this experience with a perspective on human experience, relationships, communication and recurring patterns.
In B2B consulting, I combine these perspectives to consider work-related strain in connection with the work situation. I do not offer economic business analysis or process optimization.
B2B & PSYCHOTHERAPY / MEDICINE
Professional consulting and therapy remain separate.
This offer is aimed at work-related strain and its connection with the work situation. It is not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Psychotherapeutic or medical concerns require a suitable, separate framework.
